What is the project?

Wireless communication can be hacked easily. The proposed ZigBee-based secured wireless communication system using AES provides high security for all wireless communication. All the communication made between two systems is made into data using 128 bit AES encryption which is highly secure. The received encrypted data can only be decrypted using the authorized key. Two-way communication is possible through the is system where you can receive and transmit at the same time.

How does it work?

This system works with the help of an Atmega microcontroller system interfaced with ZigBee. This system is attached to an LCD screen which helps to receive the message and send the authorized key. It has an USB keyboard powered by a 12V supply. Once the system is initiated we can enter the data on the system to be transmitted. The character limit is 32 characters. Once the data is transmitted it will ask for the key which is usually 16 characters. When the key is entered, the messages will be received on the other system. Of the key is wrong the message will be decrypted and the garbage value will be displayed and the message will be secured without being transmitted. This by using this proposed system a safe wireless communication system can be created.
