what is the project?

Renewable resources like solar energy and other easily available energy resources has become very popular nowadays. The use of these resources has increased over the years as they are easily available at low cost. Solar energy can be obtained by various means. This project depicts how to charge the battery using solar energy obtained from the footsteps of people walking on the Piezo footboard. The solar panel present will observe all the solar energy. When the voltage of the panel goes more than the voltage of the battery, the battery will use this solar power to charge the battery.

How the project works? The panel works with the help of an Atmega microcontroller. This microcontroller is attached to a LCD display. The LCD acts as the display to show the amount of solar power obtained and stored with the number of footsteps of the people with which it is generated. Thereby using this innovative system one can monitor and the charge the battery by using the solar power generated from the footsteps of the people on the piezo based board giving rise to a revolution in the usage of renewable source of energy.
