Development of Robotics have advanced over the years. Robotics nowadays come in more complex systems and designs. One such complex robotic system is the self-balancing robot. This robot proposes the strategy that a robot should also be able to move with balancing properties just like a normal human being, thus opening an ocean of work that a robot can specialize in. This self-balancing robot works with help of Atmega328 microcontroller chip and sensors attached on the robot in upright posture.

How it works?

When the robot is pushed in any direction, it will oppose the force and try to balance it positions. For instance, if the robot is pushed in the forward direction it will balance itself and come to the right position. This robot is also specialised in direction view. It will never deviate from its course even if forced to. All these function of the robot is done with the help of the accelerometer and the gyro sensors attached to it. The output is handled by the motor control section of the robot. This self-balancing robot with its balancing and clear directional sensing capability is one of the advancement made in the field of robotics.
