what is the project about? The recent trend is making almost all utility things automatic. People nowadays prefer automation with minimized power consumption. Here an automatic light fan control with a load sending seat is proposed to reduce the amount of power wasted. When people don’t or forget to switch the light, or fan off, a huge amount of power is lost. So, our proposed system switches on the light and fan only when a person sits in the chair. This system can be used in trains and flights to save power consumption.
How the project works? This system has a set of load sensors present in the seat to detect if a person is sitting on it. After receiving the command of the person sitting on the seat, the microcontroller will get the signal which will turn the light and fan automatically if the user is seated on the seat. Once the user gets up from the seat, all the connection between the load sensor and the microcontroller will be lost and the light and fan will have switched off. Thus, by using this proposed system, we can save a lot of power which is wasted unnecessarily.
