What is the project?

Power is being consumed in large quantities all over the world.  Power is now being generated from actions sources. A new proposed technology is to generate power from the footsteps of people.

This system uses piezo sensors to generate power from human footsteps.

How it works?

This proposed system has a footboard to place the footsteps. This footboard is loaded with piezoelectric sensors arranged in a specific way which helps to generate a voltage. This generated voltage is then sent to the monitoring circuit attached to a microcontroller. The microcontroller is used to monitor the amount of voltage received and the amount used to charge the battery. An LCD screen is used to display the amount of charge generated and used. This system also has an attached mobile phone charger dock, from which the user can charge his mobile phone by using the power generated from the footsteps on a footboard using Piezoelectric sensors.
